Our commitment to your safety and the management of COVID-19

In response to the concerns around the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), I would like to take this opportunity to personally reassure you that our team at Grand Motors Toyota are taking proactive measures to protect our staff and you, our valued guests.

We have reviewed our health and safety procedures and taken additional measures to ensure your safety. You can read below for an update on our current practices.

Hygiene practices
We continue to maintain the highest hygiene and cleaning practices throughout our dealership. We're closely following all advice received from Australian medical authorities, as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO), regarding precautions that are needed to minimise risks associated with COVID-19.

We are ensuring our staff maintain high hygiene standards throughout each department at the dealership, including practicing proper hand sanitising procedures, cough etiquette, face masks and social distancing. The dealership is equipped with hand sanitiser stations, which are available to all staff and our guests.

Staff have been advised that they are to monitor their health. If feeling unwell, they are to get tested, follow isolation regulations and remain at home until they receive a negative test result. With suppliers, contractors and guests visiting the dealership, we also ask that they please reschedule their appointment if they are showing signs of illness and adhere to directives regarding masks and social distancing.

We continue to uphold the highest standards when it comes to cleaning our dealership, including our courtesy bus and service loan cars, with already stringent hygiene processes in place. At a minimum, our dealership is cleaned daily, with hourly spot checks and spot cleans. This includes the use of an antibacterial, antimicrobial cleaning product that reduces the risk of harmful viruses, moulds, fungus, algae and any other possible harmful pathogenic bacteria.

Vehicle Servicing
After vehicles have been serviced, there is the option to have your vehicle’s steering wheel, centre console, dash and door handles sprayed with a sanitising solution.

New and Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales
In addition to standard sales procedures, we have introduced solo and virtual test drives at the request of the guest or salesperson. Virtual appointments and online purchases are also available.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local communities, and governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain this pandemic.

In this climate, we know visiting our Dealership may not be your first thought, but I want you to know the safety of our guests and staff is our top priority.

We will be closely monitoring this situation and will communicate any changes as they come to hand. In the meantime, we are open for business at Grand Motors Toyota.
